Bank loan for HDB flat are shuck! The Government new policy that some buyer must take bank loan for HDB flat have let these Banks earn hell of money.

My brother took up a Bank loans for one well known Bank (Advertisement something like: Ask ***). The initital package was extremely attractive. With less than 2% interest rate for first year. But after 1 year past, the Bank increase the interest 3 times till 5% per annum now.

As a result, the instalment that my brother need to pay increase from S$700+ to S$900+ per month.

If possible, take HDB loan. These banks are just sucking blood.
